I am a realist painter of still life, portraits and landscapes.
The use of light plays an important role in my compositions as I explore imagery that has a quiet mood, showing natural subjects in simple settings. I work primarily in oil, following the methods of the Old Masters.
Whether working on a landscape, an arrangement of flowers, or painting a portrait, I am always looking to express specific qualities that I want to see in the world.
I’ve been exhibiting since 2001 and creating fine art professionally for galleries and collectors since 2004. Originally from Toronto and Mississauga, I moved north in 2006 and now work out of my studio and gallery in Lake of Bays, just outside of Algonquin Provincial Park. As well as creating original works of art I also accept portrait commissions.
If you would like to book an appointment to visit the studio and gallery or have any inquiries regarding available work or portrait commissions, please feel free to email me.
